Questions

Is the mint really free?+

Yes. The mint price is 0 ETH. Your wallet only pays the Base network gas fee for the transaction, which is normally a fraction of a cent to a few cents. There is no hidden mint fee in the contract.

How many foxes can I mint?+

One per wallet. The contract enforces it, so a second mint from the same wallet will fail. The public supply is 9,800 foxes, and 200 more are reserved for the team.

When does the public mint open?+

Very soon. The contract is deployed and the team reserve is minted. The last step is pinning all 10,000 images and metadata files to IPFS and linking them to the contract. This page reads the contract directly, so its mint button switches on by itself the moment the mint opens.

What wallet do I need?+

You only need your Warpcast wallet. Open this page inside Warpcast, connect your Warpcast wallet, and mint. Make sure your Warpcast wallet has a small amount of ETH on Base for gas.

How do I share my fox after minting?+

Right after your mint confirms, a share panel appears under the mint button with your fox's picture. Tap "Share on Farcaster" and Warpcast opens with your cast already written, your fox's picture attached, and the live number of foxes left. You just press Post. There is a Share on X button there too.

Can I sell my fox later?+

Yes. Your fox is a standard ERC-721 token, so it shows up in your wallet and can be listed on NFT marketplaces that support Base, such as OpenSea. The contract carries a 5% creator royalty (ERC-2981) that goes to the team on marketplaces that honor it.

How do I know my fox is unique?+

Each fox combines five trait layers: fur, eyes, background, accessory and expression. All 10,000 fox images are one of a kind, no two pictures are the same. On top of that, every fox carries a rarity tier: Legendary (121), Epic (272), Rare (877), Uncommon (1,132) and Common (7,598).
